Our Story

farmers

In the summer of 2017, Francis and Alexandra found themselves camping in the midcoast Maine region. Having been drawn to Maine since early childhood, Francis and Alexandra would often come up to Maine to explore and spend time away from their busy lives in Massachusetts. On this fateful weekend trip, they happened upon a for sale sign for a little old homestead on a hill in Liberty, Maine. Immediately they knew this special place was their home and the perfect place to raise a family. They had long since dreamt of a larger patch of land to grow their own produce. They had been growing their own fruits and vegetables in their small suburban yard for the past 4 years and longed to share the joy they found in their garden with others. Seizing the opportunity, they have been hard at work realizing their vision for Wild Grace Farm.

farm

Wild Grace Farm is a biodiverse farm. We grow a large variety of fruits, veggies, flowers, and herbs, as well as harvest wild edibles from our land.  We hope to be adding some livestock to our farm soon! Be on the lookout for chickens, ducks, and bees come spring time.

We will never use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We are currently working towards organic certification and grow to organic standards. Check out our What’s Growing page for a list of what we are currently growing. For the most up to date list of what we have available, contact us or visit our farm store.

farm store

In the summer of 2018, we broke ground on the Wild Grace Farm Store. The store is located right on Route 3 about a mile up the road from the Lake St. George State Park entrance. We seek to serve the midcoast Maine community with fresh, tasty, and beautiful food. We aim to open the store in Spring of 2019. For more info on the store please visit our Farm Store page.

When dreaming of our plans for the farm, we knew that we wanted to be able to share the peace and tranquility we had found here with others. We are excited to announce that we are now taking reservations for both farm stays and "glamping". Looking for a unique vacation and a chance to reconnect with nature? Check out our Retreat page for more information about our farm stay experiences.

We can't wait to meet you!
